” It gives me great pleasure to recommend J & J Powerline Contractors of Dodge City, Kansas, to your company for consideration as a powerline contractor.
J & J has been the low bidder on our “Labor Only Contract” for CMS Electric Cooperative since 1993. The latest contract has covered projects as small as single pole services to as large as multiple mile main feeder rebuilds from our substations. J & J will be asked to bid on our future contract work.
J & J Powerline owner, Jim Abel, and his crews have been very easy to work with on any changes to the design of projects during construction, sometimes calling to our attention improvements to our original design. There has been very little to ‘no’ clean up to projects after completion and inspection. All cleanups have been completed in a timely manner and to our approval. In our experience, the quality of J & J’s work has been above average. Complaints from our customers have been almost non-existent because they have done a good job of keeping the property owners informed of their scheduling and work practices.
J & J crews are very proud of their safety practices and their workmanship and it shows in their quality people. They are easy to work with according to our engineering staff, warehouse people, and our office personnel. Their crews strive to keep all of us informed on their scheduling of outages to the estimated date of completion of projects.
Again, I would highly recommend J & J Powerline contractors for any line work your company might have. ”
Sincerely yours,
